In Japanese thought, Henka is not abrupt or chaotic change — it is fluid, intentional, and deeply tied to the environment, time, and human connection. The Henka by Art system builds on this by treating every artwork as part of a living chain — where each piece transforms into the next, influenced by interaction, reinterpretation, and reinterpretation across media.Visual Art: Morphing Canvases
- Artists create works that are designed to evolve — for example, starting as a sketch that inspires others to create a painting, poem, short film, animated clip or KOTODAMA presentation.

Poetry: Living Verses
- Poems are created as recursive texts, meant to be reinterpreted or rewritten over time.

- Haiku and tanka (traditional Japanese forms) are central, but mutated forms emerge — hybrid formats that evolve through iteration, remixing, and performance.

- A poet writes tanka in response, printed alongside the scroll.
- A filmmaker creates a dreamlike short based on the scroll’s imagery and poem’s themes.
